The Consensus All-State team is the Top 30 vote-getters from the Big School and Small School All-State teams. The Big Schools are from the state's Class 4A, 3A and similar sized-private schools. The Small Schools are from the state's Class 2A, 1A and similar-sized private schools. The All-State lists are compiled by Sheldon Shealer and Mark Thomas for The Associated Press. Tanis twice got the Gaels into opposition territory in the final minute, but interceptions by Nathan Hummel and Anthony Triplin ended the drives. Three plays later, Lattimore redeemed himself with a 70-yard touchdown run on lateral from quarterback Nick Tanis. Lattimore received the ball on the right sideline but ran all the way across to the left sideline for the score early in the second quarter. Landon took a 21-14 lead by marching 85 yards on 11 plays. Fullback Austin Sanders capped the impressive drive with a 2-yard touchdown run. John Mudrick's extra-point kick tied the game, 14-14, on the first play of the second quarter. ...the Gaels tied it again on a 72-yard strike from Nick Tanis to junior wide receiver Matt Goldberg and another Mudrick extra point. Nick Tanis completed eight of 11 passes for 147 yards, one touchdown and one interception, and Goldberg made three catches for 113 yards and a touchdown in the first half before leaving with an injured wrist.
