HORTON, Robert A. firstname.lastname@example.org "...I served with VP-772 when I first enlisted after basic at NAS Los Alamitos, California. there was a merger and we became VP-774. I flew in P2V5F's and 7's on "Barrier" patrol down the coast to Guadalupe Islands and back up to Catalina Island. Often served as the Squadron yeoman in the line shack at NAS Los Alamitos, California when not in class. I was a ADJ striker back then. Eventually I was transfered to the USS Yorktown CVS-10 where I changed striker and became a ABM striker in the ship's V-4 Div. Would like to know if any of the squadron is still out there or not. WE were a reserve squadron then, now the NAS is gone and has become a National Guard training center..." [02JUN2002]
