From 1982 to 1985, I served at ASWOC/TSC NAF Lajes, Azores, Portugal (also flew with CP-140 and Nimrod crews). Instructor duty from 1986 to 1989 at Patrol Wing Ten (Commander, Patrol Wing Ten (CPW-10)) Weapons System Test (WST) Det. Became a "Tailhooker" and served with VS-37 from 1990 to 1993 (Persian Gulf War/Somalia). Served on the staff of COMSEACONWINGPAC from 1993 to 1996. VS-35 from 1996 to 1999 (also flew with ES-3A, VQ-5). Currently back at COMSEACONWINGPAC staff as "Last of the Tailhook SENSOs" due to disestablishment of S-3 AW billets..."
