Note NOTICE: "...There is one mystery I have been trying to solve for several years that concerns the crash of VPW-1 plane on Mount Bonohao, P.I. which killed the entire crew on 19 October 1946. At the time of the crash I was at Agana, Guam. The only notice we reeived of this crash was the posting of the time, date, and location. Not one word was ever said in regard to any search party that went to the crash site or if the bodies were found. In fact, no mention was ever made by any officer regarding the loss of crew. VPW-1 history does not mention the loss of a plane while VPW-2 history mentions that it lost no planes. The chronology does not mention this loss. If anyone has any suggestions as to how I might resolve this, I would appreciate them..." Ray Parsons parsonsjr@knology.net
