This ideal location for a reunion offers a unique blend of southwestern warmth, cosmopolitan flair, old-west charm and modern sophistication. The Fort Worth & Dallas area encompasses 384 square miles of rolling prairie, with native pecan, cottonwood and live oak trees. You'll have the opportunity to experience the best of both Fort Worth & Dallas during your reunion. Reunion tours will include a tour of Fort Worth; a city that still embodies the spirit of the old west. Fondly known as “Cowtown”, it's the only city that still drives a herd of Longhorn cattle down “Main Street” twice a day. The Dallas City Tour, features a visit to the “Sixth Floor Museum” chronicling the assassination of JFK. You will also have the chance to go to Billy Bob's, the “World's Largest Honky-Tonk”. Hotel Information

The reunion officially runs from Thursday, October 29th through Sunday, November 1st. You will be staying at the full service Wyndham DFW Airport North which is located at 4441 W. John Carpenter Freeway, Irving, TX 75063. The hotel is conveniently located close to many of the area's top attractions.

Reservation Information

The room rate is just $109.00 plus tax per night and includes a complimentary buffet breakfast daily. For those of you who choose to arrive early or stay late, the same room rate is available two days prior and two days after, based on availability. Please make your hotel reservations NOW by calling the hotel directly at the following number 972-929-8181. Be sure to ask for the VP-4 Veterans Association Reunion rate. You may request specific room types when you call to make your reservations (handicap accessible room, etc.). The hotel check-in time is 3:00pm. Please, do not expect to get into your room before then. Make your reservations NOW, you may cancel your hotel up to 24 hours prior to arrival and not be charged. They will ask you for a deposit or credit card number to guarantee your room reservation. The hotel is holding rooms until they sell out or September 11th, 2009, whichever comes first.

Airport Transportation & Parking

If you are flying to the reunion, the Wyndham DFW North offers complimentary shuttle service from the Dallas Fort Worth Airport (DFW). Upon arrival at the airport, call for shuttle pick-up using the free courtesy phone in the Baggage Claim area. For those of you driving, the hotel offers plenty of free parking.
