Visitor Photos
Visitors to the VMFA hangar have included many Veterans and aviation aficionados.. These include Albert Ricketts, D.F.C. who was a pilot with 21 Sqdn. R.A.F. on Venturas. He participated in a daring low level daylight raid on the Philips Works factory in Eindhoven, Holland in which he had to ditch in the English Channel on his way back home. For this, he and his crew were the first inductees into the 'Goldfish' club as they had to pile into their dingy after the splash-down. Visitors to the VMFA hangar have included many Veterans and aviation aficionados.. Author Peter Marson who visited us here with his wife. Peter has just published a fabulous reference work called 'The Lockheed Twins', an absolute must for researchers!.
